A new, one day music festival is happening in Radcliffe-on-Trent this July, and will include some great Nottinghamshire artists.
There’ll be more than six hours of live music, along with a festival market, skate jam, food and drink and loads of activities.
The idea came from a survey of young people in Radcliffe, who asked for more things to do for teenagers. One of the most popular ideas being a music festival.
Bands signed up to play, so far include Super Furniture, who opened the main stage at Nottingham’s Splendour Festival in 2016; alt-rock/punk band Babe Punch; Radcliffe’s own Tom McCartney with his blues and roots set, and electronic pop from ‘BBC Introducing’ featured Lowrie. More artists will be named between now and July.
RadFest2K17 takes place on Saturday 15th July at The Rec, Wharf Lane in Radcliffe from 2:30pm to 9pm.
Tickets are just £1 and available from Burley’s, Pen2Paper or via the website radfest.org.uk
