The Deathly Project

The Deathly Project

Solo acoustic punk with a folk vibe to it.

Can you give a brief history of your music journey so far?

I started playing music at school, my first instrument was the bass and then the guitar. I played school concerts and started my love for performing. I started playing at open mics regularly around Nottingham at 18 and had a lot of fun. I started playing one or two gigs including at Contemporary art gallery. After that I didn’t have time to play for about a year but I am coming back with the intention to play more gigs – and have just played Nottingham Pride.

What are you working on at the moment?

I am currently working on writing more songs and progressing my YouTube channel (music, vlogs and live music videos).

What was it like playing at Pride?

Playing pride was amazing, a very positive and responsive crowd. I was able to get up on stage and be both proud of my music but also proud of being LGBT, although it was only a short set the crowd still sang along and danced to my music which is always a fantastic sight to see.
